Chicago is one of the most otherworldly Christmas objections in the US, as the Christmas season includes every kind of occasion under the sun. From ZooLights at the Lincoln Park Zoo to the German-style Christkindlmarket, Chicago doesn't frustrate.
The Christmas season starts off just prior to Thanksgiving with the city's yearly Lights Festival along Michigan Avenue. Walt Disney World accomplices up with the city for a motorcade that gets the group in the occasion disposition. Including shock visitors to exciting exhibitions, the procession closes with the lighting of the trees on Michigan Avenue to stamp the start of special times of the year.
Other not to miss occasions during the Chicago Christmas season include Christmas Around the World at the Museum of Science and Industry with north of 60 trees showing the traditions of families all over the planet; Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier with monster slides, thrill rides, and ice skating; and Illumination at the Morton Arboretum with highlights a walk around 50 sections of land of lit trees while drinking hot cocoa and being entertained via vocalists.
Visiting the city during special times of year is really something for a Chicago list of must-dos. Each town, café, bar, and scene has something unique made arrangements for the Christmas season. Try not to pass up on a chance to observe Christmas in a city that goes all out for these special seasons.
